THE COMPANY



FAFP was started in Hong Kong as a production entity, an affiliate of the California film company - NMI. Started with the vision of writer-director and principal, Sean Ramsay, to bring international talent together to create cinema that bridges cultural boundaries, and open people’s eyes to broader appreciation of world stories with universal messages.


We set forth to make projects that will capture the imagination and admiration of audiences from every corner, with performance magic, and ultimately delivery of winning market results.

VICTORY DAY (action thriller)





A firebrand war correspondent takes justice into his own hands, kidnapping a corrupt Oligarch and holds him on trial in a live stream broadcast for sabotage of the economic reforms in Russia.



THE DOUBLE





An action comedy set in Indonesia.



BLACK DRAGON'S TAIL(action historical)





A story from the annals of an American explorer, a gold rush in the farthest reaches of the earth, where a ruthless autocrat has declared the land his own country, and where marauders roam on the peripheries, there, three men form a bond, and find endless riches,, but must evade predators and the treachery of greed that comes with their success.



OVERBOARD





A member of a camera crew, sound recordist Lin is kidnapped during the worst days of the chaos in Afghanistan. His partner Able is recovering from a gunshot would to the head, when the reckless brother of missing sound man turns up, on a collision course with calamity. Able who jokes about how many times he has cheated death, is forced into a partnership with the brother, and no longer joking as gravity pulls them together toward a face-off with the mysterious commander feared by all.



TOYOHIKO AND HARU KAGAWA





Known as "The Ghandi of Japan", a giant of his time, famous throughout Japan and the world, pacifist, front line union organiser, activist and driving force behind rural agrarian reform, Christian mystic, early campaigner for nuclear disarmament, author of over 150 books. Toyohiko together with his wife Haru started by moving into the worst slums of Kobe Japan, to serve the poor for 15 years, sacrificing his own health. Realising charity was not enough, Toyohiko and Haru fought to organise and push society toward becoming the most highly egalitarian society in Asia today.

Partnership with So Uncool, Vanessa Carlino, script development, co-producer. Feature film, co-production China, USA.


CFG Sci-Fi Deal Brokered

FAFP brokered a deal with China Film Group, handling screenplay rights acquisition and key talent with CAA, for star-driven English language, Sci-Fi project, script acquired from WGA writer J. Kotcheff. SFG Co-production


SFG Co-Production

Company signed to enter into a co-production deal with . Development and co-producing of a feature film mixed Chinese and English language set to shoot in California and Shanghai. Distribution with SFG’s United Cinema line.


ZZ Films Hires FAFP to Produce Original Series

FAFP joins Beijing’s ZZ Film to develop and produce a cross-cultural sit-com for ZZ Films of Beijing. “A combative Hollywood producer comes to China to team up with his old film school pal, a rising star director in China’s burgeoning Film Industry.”

Woodworth Signs Deal to Produce FAFP China- Action & Farcical Comedy

Original screenplay rights acquired from FAFP by Legacy, to shoot in S.E. Asia, Indonesia and Thailand 2020.


Series for US streaming

The company, FAFP follows their 2020 plan to focus on US “streaming” content. Signing now with TV writers for a crime-thriller series with domestic focus, international twist.


Genocide Survivors’ Project

This documentary project is working with original recordings of survivors. While focusing on the genocide of the Armenians, we look at the altering of history and denial of atrocities by governments and their allies in this case, and other genocides that are explained in, or omitted from, the annals of history.


Russian Production Company Enters to Produce as Ramsay will Direct His Feature Script

Moscow based Kinoglaz has signed on to produce Sean Ramsay’s script, an action-drama based on true events. Ramsay is attached as director.


NMI Director teams up with writer biographer, Robert Schildgen to pen and produce a feature length documentary about "the Ghandi of Japan", pacifist and social innovator Toyohiko Kagawa and his wife Haru, who shepherded Japan into the modern egalitarian success it is today. Script completed September 2025. Production to commence in Japan, in 2026.


Thanks to the support of Bay Area Video Coalition, NMI's new one hour docu-fiction, under the working title, "Three Sons", a story about the crisis in Siberia, is now finishing post production February 2026, and readying for the big screen at film festivals!




director's bio





Sean Ramsay, took an early interest in Russia and China focusing on those two countries when he studied political science and international relations at Berkeley. He went to UCLA’s Master’s program in filmmaking. He used his free time during his education to travel to China and short documentary films. He was then offered a job in Russia to shoot pictures and TV news, and was doing documentary long form in his free time . Later he began traveling to hot spots as a photographer and cameraman, writer. He then started writing for narrative film based on experiences in the Russian Republics , and Iraq and Afghanistan. He opened his company, NMI, and wrote Victory Day, which was later produced in 2011. Then he went back to China in hopes to make a film. He wrote a number of screenplays for co-productions with China and Russia, Germany, and the U.S.
